Do you have the file open for Update in the RPG Program? You may have to
specify OPTION(*UPD) or however it is opened in your RPG Program. You might
also investigate imbedded SQL for this.

Hi,
i have a subfile with the selection and I am trying to open query over the
PF file in RPG with query selection. I tried  different Scopes , share
yes/no and it is still does not work right. I am doing opnqryf in QCmxExc.
Delete override first, close file, override file , open query, open file.

when i read file here is what i am getting.

Get option list not valid for member ORDERSP.
I/O error CPF5264 was detected in file ORDERSP.
Function check. RNX1299 unmonitored by DISPLAY1R at statement 0000003120,
  instruction X'0000'.
