Hi, Mike,

I know what You mean, but that was my first check when encountering the problem;
the LDA was NOT overwritten afterwards, except later on by pgm3, as it should be
(increments).

In fact, LDA seemed to have been not written at all in the 1st pgm...
Why pgm3 did the job, even though it was coded in the same way, is what puzzled
me the most
and got me to call in You guys for help.

Anyway, problem seems to be solved now and I thank all of You guys involved for
helping me on this one.

I hope to return the favour(s), someday

Greetings, Michel

 I note from your RPG that you have a UDS defined. This means the *LDA is
automatically updated when the program exits (ie an OUT is not required). Is it
possible that after your OUTstatement you are moving something else to the
field in the data structure before the program exits?
