Sorry, Dan.  I didn't mean to imply that blanks in the zoned data
would cause an exception.  I meant to criticize your code for doing
a MOVEL from the zoned value to the char value and then doing a TESTN.
With _some_ zoned data (e.g. *all'#'), you will get a DDE on both
a move to character and a z-add.
