Yes, as you said you can automate it by using a CL program, and by making it run
in batch instead of you doing interactively. In fact I am doing this as one of
my job in my project. Basically you have to over ride the script by creating a
script file as a text, also you need to get the log by overriding the FTP log to
a dummy text file which will be our log file. You have to over ride to the file
Input with the script text and the log text to Output.

Sorry, I didn't phrase that one well.  I'll try again.  What is the best
way to automate FTP transfers from one box to the next?  For instance
using CL.
Any examples in CL would be greatly appreciated.
