My suggestion would be if you are using RPG IV is to use a User Space. Just
create a multiple occurrence data structure based on a pointer and then get
a pointer to the user space and you ready to go. The storage in the user
space is now identical to the storage in memory and extremely fast. You can
then just do OCCUR's to move through the data.
