 I vote for #2.  Unless you're going to start using special characters in
the opcodes (which would make the code ugly, IMHO) there's no way you can
guarantee not having a clash.  But a simple scan / replace can usually
solve the problem pretty easily.  Or allow the EVAL opcode for those cases
that the variable becomes an opcode.
