Sql session save -- RPG400-L

Hi folks,

I'd like to start a small thread along the lines of - Is not extremely annoying 
the way SQL sessions seem to be randomly saved according to workstation id and 
user profile. Of cousre I know that they are not, but I would like to know :-

Are they saved in files ?

Where are they saved ?

Are they accessible ?

What naming rules are they saved under ?

Thanks in anticipation of a deluge of helpful info.
