Similar to an unlisted number.

Personally, if I don't recognize the number I don't answer. And for our
home phone, if it's a marketer (who's not honoring the Do Not Call list) I
log on to my VOIP service and place a block on their number so it never
rings at my house again.

Can't find a forum for cell phone questions, and CPF0000 didn't seem
appropriate either so I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask such a
question. That said, I got a call today that, when I looked at the phone,
it said "Private Number." What the @#$% does this mean? Obviously (or
maybe not), I didn't answer it.
