I know someone with a Netgear WNDR3700 he has had it a few years and he is very
pleased with it. Did you try unplugging it from the power and plugging it back in. Did
you try upgrading the firmware? Did you try resetting the setting back to factory and
putting your settings back in?

I have used a SonicWall TZ210 for years and am very happy with it. Of course it's
more expensive. It also is a lot more configurable.
