That is not what Bryan meant - Copy Append is an extra option in the Edit menu of iSeries Access - as well as Paste Next. Copy Append takes what you are copying and appends it to the end of what is on the clipboard. Very cool for copying multi-screen stuff like source or help text or whatever. Paste Next is the reverse - it starts pasting from where you left off - nice for pasting long source.

Of course, it's much easier in WDSC/RDi - where you don't deal with multi-screens - you can copy and paste the whole thing. There's probably not a reason for this feature in Windows apps other then the emulator.

You can do it from the command line. Start, Run, cmd.

Copy filea + fileb filec

Copies filea and adds fileb to create filec. You can add as many files with pluses as you wish. You can also do:

Copy fileb + filea fileb
