Thanks for the reply. I have run the memory diagnostics with no apparent
problems. Then I ran the office diagnostics and was told to allow for the
download of a file that is suppose to help with the situation. You have to
wait a week before this takes effect so I will limp along until M$ tells me
what to do next. How to you get to office repair? It did not show up in the
Control Panel processing.

I'll ditto Lukas' suggestion. I've got Office 07 on two different Vista
Ultimate PCs. The PCs have very different configurations - a dual-core
laptop & a quad-core desktop. Neither have any issues with Office 2007.
