On the contrary, I think it is amazing how much productivity you can add by
relatively small expenditures for larger monitors and/or mulitple monitors.
I've been using multiple monitors for many years, and I don't see why every
developer doesn't. I'd recommend the 2407WFP over the 2007FP in a
heartbeat.

I understand and agree. I have two monitors myself. But those
responsible for the company's money have to ask the questions and
evaluate the answers rather than automatically approving each request.
John answers the questions, which is what would be required if I were
the approver.

My comment about how this stuff adds up was somewhat tongue in cheek.
