Hmmmm.... Looks like Linksys disabled syslog in this model. You need 3rd

party firmware (http://www.hyperwrt.org/) to re-enable it.



Except that only works on hardware levels up to V3, and those would be hard
to find anymore.  Most stores would only have V5 boards, or if their stock
is older, V4 boards.  Interestingly, at the GPL code center on the Linksys
site, you can get the GPL code for firmware levels of V4 too, but I guess
Hyperwrt never modified them.

I think I remember hearing they moved away from GPL code with the V5 level
of hardware revisions, and that may be the only thing in stores anymore.
