Python has been available on IBMi for a while.

Personally for me now that .Net runs on IBM i I have no real use for the untyped scripting langs like Python, Ruby, PHP or Node.

I can now start re-using code I've used for a long time in Windows environments.

It's good to have choices though.

subject: [IBMiOSS] Python Virtual Environments

So far I'm only using a small amount of python (on the IBMi ) for simple things like creating spreadsheets and pretty-printing JSON strings.

I installed python3 through the Open Source Package Management menu option in ACS.

/QopenSys/pkgs/bin/python3 --version = 3.6.6

I was just wondering about python virtual environments on the IBMi.
Do people use these (Is it even implemented?)

thanks and regards,
Craig
