At first glance, that looked perfect. The document was a little tricky in that there are multiple classes on the same page with no clear boundaries. Once I realized the numRows() method belongs to class dbstmt, I got it run without crashing. The trouble is that it gave -1. I reread the description, and I don't think it actually works for a simple SELECT. It says "SELECT from INSERT".

Assuming the result set is a JSON object, I should be able to figure out from that how many rows were returned.
