Our Job Watch (JOBWATCH) software can monitor for job statuses such as
MSGW, messages in a message queue (or many message queues), message
severities, make sure a number of jobs are running, check to see if jobs
are running longer than normal, CPU% of jobs, etc.

Upon meeting criteria met it can call any program or command to do whatever
you want.

I am not aware of any default way to get an email if a problem is created
- I'm sure there are API's and most likely SQL options to read current
problems so if I want to write something that would be one place to start.

Is there anything already provided on the system that can be turned on /
set up that would achieve the same result ?
