Yea, that’s almost a requirement. I just automatically do it for each

Have you tried adding the namefmt command to the "Post Login commands"

Subject: [EXTERNAL] WINSCP connection to the IFS

I have used this on other PC's.
I now have a new PC and have connected to IBMi but it limits me to the
database only or namefmt 0 only.
I tried using the CD command to switch to the IFS but I get the message
that I can use it for for library/file formats.

As I have this working on other systems, there must be a simple way that
I can issue the QUOTE SITE NAMEFMT 1 command. WINSCP is blocking the CD and
other commands.

I am trying to avoid having to use the native FTP on IBMi. The WINSCP
panels are so much easier to use for many files.

Does anyone know how to get it to switch?

TIA, Darryl Freinkel.
