Thanks Bryan! I actually found it with WRKSMTPEMM, there you can see all
the emails that were sent. With option 8 you can see the log. First time
for me, very interesting, but yes, I also activated the journal.

if you've rolled your own email sending program using that API, you
should be able to log anything you want. either to a journal or to a DB
file.

the manuals:
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/i/7.4?topic=ssw_ibm_i_74/apis/qtmmsendmail.html

show an error parm structure, so again you are in-charge

if it is "pre-built" you may gain some insight:
CHGSMTPA JOURNAL(*YES)
stop and restart *SMTP and MSF
my limited test did not show anything "fun" in the QZMF journal

<cut part of the help screen>
Help (CHGSMTPA) Journal (JOURNAL) - Help

Specifies whether SMTP should write additional journal entries which
show mail message transitions, events, and informational data to the
Mail Server Framework journal (QUSRSYS/QZMF) as each mail item
passes through SMTP.

I am trying to use the QtmmSendMail API. Where can I look for errors?
Is
there a log for this? Apart from the job log for the QTSMTPCLTD job in
QSYSRWK, where else? Maybe in QMSF jobs?

TIA
