True that - or for them to watch what you do.

I've not gone so far as to investigate further - but I did just now. There is a guide for secure installation available for some time now from Fortra - you might try this link -

https://www.fortra.com/resources/guides/securely-deploy-access-client-solutions/thank-you?submissionGuid=e7a2a168-cc07-4d3d-946c-ed2a85c4e9c9

I had to fill out a form in order to get it. One basic item is the Restrictions tab in the admin interface, where these settings end up in the registry. This has stuff that can be combined in an installation script apparently - we would do well to implement this here, methinks.

Cheers

Then you just hope that your users are too stupid to use a web browser to
figure out how to find out how to change that back.

Hello Gio

You edit the AcsConfig.properties file - that is located in the directory
you see when you display the About in the Help menu.

There is a setting in there, com.ibm.iaccess.ExcludeComps, and you could
add DATABASE to whatever is in that list - or it could be
com.ibm.iaccess.IncludeComps, then you could remove DATABASE from that.

In the same location where you found the properties file, you should find a
Documentation directory - in there, look for a GettingStarted file - in
there, look for one of those settings.

Hi all

I would like to know how to disable the "Run Sql Script" in the ACS
menu,
for the user that have limited capabilities.

Thanks in advance
