Also some VTLs, even though you CAN IPL from them, have very specific rules about the require setup. For example with Cybernetics you cannot IPL from a library, only a standalone virtual drive, AND that Drive can be no lower then LTO6.

So when you pick your VTL vendor be absolutely certain you understand those rules AND TEST THEM or you may find yourself unable to recover!!
