Thanks for referring SQL service here , as I tested this program but it
does not provide reference of all the programs even after they are present
in the same library and calling each other.

But in a single SQL query can we get that entire list for the same purpose
in the main question here please?

Thanks...

The problem is compound.
1 - Not all the SQL 'services' are documented in the same place. For some
strange reason some are under "Performance and Query Optimization" and some
are under "Db2 for i catalog views".
2 - Since the output of what you desire may be totally different based on
what area of the program you want to see (service programs, modules, etc)
it takes separate services to get the individual parts.
On the plus side, SQL does handle recursion, if you're up for it.

Is there a SQL Service for DSPPGMREF? I didn't find one.

Good job!

I've some suggestions:
- I'd replace the native IBM i commands calls by querying SQL services.
- I would either return a result set or create(if needed) the table
on-the-fly passing the table's name as a parameter.

For a learning experience, I've written PGM_REFS, a PL/SQL stored
procedure that uses the DSPPGMREF command to display information about a
program and the objects it uses, and the objects they use, to a virtually
unlimited depth.

You can see the code and some documentation at
