Re: Save and restore JOBQE content

QBATCH is an IBM supplied subsystem description and ordinarily I would not
suggest restoring from one system to another. That said since that object
hasn’t changed in quite some time, it’ll be OK.

We don’t know if the donor system is at the same OS and TR level as the new
one, or was it a direct restore (doubtful due to the way the question was
raised) so there are too many unknowns to really be happy with any
recommendation other than “add them back manually “.

Other than with this specific object readers should not take the advise to
just restore it blindly without some of those questions being asked and
answered.

Hi all

I’m migrating to a new IBM i .. in the old IBM i, i had created some

jobq

(in QGPL) and associated to a subsystem; now restoring QGPL , i have
restored also JOBQ, but not the “link” JOBQ and SBS. Question : is there
anyway to save and restore the JOBQE content ? i have to run ADDJOBQE
manually for every JOBQ that i have created ?
