I'm trying to print to a printer that only does IPP. I've never set up an
IPP printer before, and I'm following this IBM doc:
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/i/7.3?topic=printing-configuring-ipp-printers#rzaluconippprt
Our IT dept gave me a Windows test page that lists:
Printer: \\
http://1.2.3.4:631\PrinterName
Port:
http://1.2.3.4:631/printers/PrinterName
For RMTLOCNAME, I've tried just the IP address, as well as the Printer and
Port from the test page. They all give CPD6F83 (Could not establish
Internet Print Protocol (IPP) communications with device), reason code "1 -
The device did not respond with an IPP response".
Any suggestions?
