16GBit is good for Flash-Based SAN and high load systems.
I never seen a P05 box (which usually only have 1 or 2 cores)
which filled up a multipath 8GBit environment to a V7K or newer.

But 8GBit already is "old" ;-)

On that note, we rarely see an 8Gb port overrun, but have never seen a 32Gb
even get to 20%. It seems 16Gb is the sweet spot at this point and pricing
that is not too outrageous......
