The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

Does AJS have all the feature/function that HelpSystems has, nope. If those
features in the ROBOT product are interesting and or needed, then by all
means buy it, it's good software. AJS simply does 90+% of what you need it
to do.
I would estimate the basic scheduler does around 60-80% of what most
shops would like in a scheduler. I'm sure it's already 90% for some
shops. (Hence even people who know about AJS might not think it's
worth *any* premium.)
I fully agree that AJS meets at *minimum* 90% of most shops' needs.
It's already overkill for many.
I strongly suspect that a noticeable percentage of Robot Schedule
customers would be perfectly happy with AJS but just didn't realize it
existed.
Hm. In my previous post I said there would be no losers if IBM bundled
AJS and slightly bumped up the system price, but maybe HelpSystems
would be a (slight) loser in that scenario.
