I'm a long time IBMi RPG programmer, new to the Advanced Job Scheduler.
The company I work for uses the Advanced Job Scheduler for many of our critical jobs and has no evening operations support.
When certain jobs get error messages, notifications are sent by e-mail and text to various IT staff members.
Sometimes we get them... sometimes we don't.
An error occurred a few days ago with no notifications, so I'm investigating why there were no notifications.
QIJSSCD is active and running, the error on the job was a RNQ1218 Unable to allocate record.
I found this in the job log of QIJSSCD:
Character 'R' not valid following string ''RNQ1218&N'.
Error found on *N command.
Errors occurred in command.
Execution of notification command was not successful for job JBCBILLING.

Cause . . . . . : A delimiter is missing between two values or a delimiter
that is not valid was found.
Recovery . . . : Change the character that is not valid or if a delimiter
is missing insert one. More information on delimiters can be found in the
Information Center.
