Totally agree. 3389 is not a well known port and is completely valid for a source port number.

Anyone know why a Power 9 system running v7r3 would use TCP port 3389 to contact a telnet device (Motorola/Zebra Radio Frequency device running 5250 telnet)?

This occurred yesterday and the security software on our firewall shut down access from that network to the IBM system.
