I often need to be able to display the definition(DDL) of a table whilst
using the interactive SQL.

Example I am working with data in a table in QTEMP using SELECT. I then
need to see the DDL (fields and properties of the fields) but do not know
how to do that.

The only way I can do it, is by using Schemas in ACS or iNav. However, when
working with tables in QTEMP, this is not possible as Schemas starts a
new job and I need a command to see the makeup of a table.

Is there a way to do this like using a SELECT command?

TIA, Darryl Freinkel
