They're big. At least as big as a phone booth. Heavy. 24 or 30" deep; 80" tall (6'8") Nominal 19" wide (plus frames and mounts-- closer to 24").

Have you considered a communication frame? Same 'rack' spacing, but just 2 verticals and 2 horizontals. Naked. Best if anchored to the floor and ceiling. But a lot cheaper if you're buying it.

MiddleAtlantic (now part of LeGrandAV.com) has basic racks designed for AV/HiFi equipment. Prices less than IBM!
