I need help using Navigator for i. (FWIW, V7R2.) I am trying to seeto
permissions on an SQL external stored procedure, but am getting "Unable
display permissions for this object because the associated programKMSCALER
cannot be found in the current library list." The procedure has the sameFrom
name, and was created in the same library as the associated program.
where does Nav for i get the "current library list"? The JOBD of my userisn't
profile has the library in the library list, but Nav for i apparently
using that. (Also, Google was not my friend.)"Program
When I right-click on the procedure in Nav, and click Definition,
schema" shows "Use entry from below", and what appears below that isare
"Determined by system". Helpful, not. When I select my library from the
drop-down and click OK, then I can see permissions, but all it shows me
the authorities for the program object, not the stored procedure.take
So, how does one find the authorities for a stored procedure? Does it
on the authorities of the external program object?list
