I'm not sure if the error has to do with the user and password but I
checked and I didn't make any modifications there.

Basically the changes I made were to convert some of the subroutines to
procedures and to drive the entry from a file or cursor.
I did make a procedure PauseJob2 which I used quite often when testing with
a long wait time in order to debug. So I would start the tnProgram with a
10 second delay and then go to another session and strsrvjob and strdbg on
the tnProgram to debug.
Also, I do not use the script file approach. As I said I use my own file
or an sql cursor.

Rob,

What changes did you have to make ? You mentioned your was modified.

I loaded up the code as-is from his download site and I get this error
from my program in the joblog that attempts to use the service program and
no logs appear:

"CPF9898-Unexpected screen error."

My system has the extended user and password stuff enabled and the samples
only use 10 char passwords. Was wondering if the issue was related to that
possibly ?

Before I dig more I was curious if you had any insight.

Thanks

I have on two projects now used a modified version of Albert York's TNAPI
for testing. This allowed me to test 100's of entries that would have had

to have been manually entered with a new automated process and compare the
results.
