First of all if you are using tape names like THU then I don't think you're using BRMS right.

The default for RSTLIBBRM is SAVLVL(*CURRENT). So, unlike the regular RSTLIB, which defaults to VOL(*MOUNTED), it looks for the tape volume id last used to save that library. I'm assuming that would be on your WED tape. This is why you got:
CPA4264 Found THU; expected WED on device TC. (C I R),

Look at this a whole different way.
WRKMEDBRM SYSNAME(*LCL)
Look for the date of the save you want to restore from (ignore the "Volume Serial").
13=Display contents
Use 7=Restore on the library you want to restore. Or use "9=Work with saved objects" and just restore an object or two by using 7=Restore object
