Nice find, Kevin - I still wonder if it reports relations, or only those that are about database objects created with SQL DDL = and not created using DDS.

Cheers

I have just run DSPDBR QADBFDEP on my machine.

It came up with SYSVIEWDEP in QSYS2.

WRKOBJPDM then EA and F11 a couple of times shows that on V7R3 it appears
to have *PUBLIC *READ

The SQL to query that is up to you.

Subject: DSPDBR via SQL view

Does anyone know if there is an SQL view that will provide all of the
logicals and indexes built over a physical file? Basically I'm looking
for
an IBM view that gives me what DSPDBR to an outfile gives me. I know
there
is a file out there named QADBFDEP but it is locked down by default and
I
need something accessible by a PGMR or USER profile.
