Not surprising. Everyone is leaving IE support behind.
Looking at statcounter.com, as of last month, IE usage was 2.7% of the market in the US and only 1.66% worldwide. Maintaining compatibility for an all but deprecated browser is a lot of work. The actual users of IE have fallen to the point where it just isn't worth it.
