Subject: Patch installation frequency
Hello all,
Our internal auditors are on my back. They want me to install patches (PTF ...) on the system i with the same frequency as we do on our Windows farm.
I told them that these are 2 different animals and that I am not compromising the system by not installing every cum package as soon as they come out.
But, since I am not a 200$/hours consultant, I have little credibility regarding this.
I am looking for official or semi official (best practice) guideline for patch management frequency.
Unfortunately, opinion given on this list wont cut it. I am looking for web pages, PDF document or something the like.
I did some search on IBM site and found nothing.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
