Has anyone encounter this kind of error ... when compiling a service
program, you get a CPF980F message with the text 'Binding directory
bnddir in library *LIBL not found.'?

The key is that the binding directory name is in lower case instead of all caps.

In this particular case, the BNDDIR parameter is specified and the
binding directory is in all caps.

I'm perplexed as to where the lower case binding directory name is coming from.

This is on 7.3.
