What I find EASIER about the IFS RST is that the new name is in close proximity to the old name. Unlike RSTLIB which requires you to roll down a few screens.

What's so difficult with Name, New object name?
Objects:
Name . . . . . . . . . . . . . > '/frobozz/foo'
Include or omit . . . . . . . *INCLUDE
New object name . . . . . . . > '/bozbar/bar'
RST DEV('/qsys.lib/mylib.lib/myfile.file')
OBJ(('/frobozz/foo' *INCLUDE '/bozbar/bar'))
CRTPRNDIR(*YES)

Subject: Restoring an IFS backup to an alternate directory
Honestly, I've always found the IFS SAV and RST commands to be extremely difficult to work with, and the docs and helptext on them to be extremely hard to understand.
So suppose I have a save file containing the entire contents of /frobozz/foo, a rather large subtree. And I want to restore that entire subtree to /bozbar/bar, without disturbing the current contents of /frobozz/foo.
I'm sure there's *somebody* here who is good with SAV and RST in the IFS. Can somebody explain how I would do what I just described?
