The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
I submitted an RFE for continued support for File Monitors in MGTC. Here's IBM's response:
"Can you give a justification for this ? What sorts of things are you using the support for. This function was specifically not added to the monitor support for Navigator as we did not believe the file monitors were used. This is the first request in many years, so need to understand what you are using them for."
I had to migrate away from File Monitors. They served a mission-critical function, and I couldn't wager on IBM deciding to keep them.

Subject: RE: Supported MGTC UI?
True, although much of the functionality has been moved to other (less
convenient) places. Furthermore, while some of the plumbing is still in place to keep it running (sort of) over time that plumbing will not be updated and/or removed, so if you are using it from the old client, it may, or may not, continue to work.
In the end there were not enough of us using Management Central to it's potential and I think the effort to replace it would have been significant,
so IBM decided not to pursue it directly. If my understanding is correct
as reported by a Large User Group (LUG) attendee during that discussion ( I was not there ), the LUG was not as interested in MGTC as it could have been suggesting instead that IBM put Its development efforts in another direction.
If sufficient numbers of smaller users rally around a replacement product I'm guessing IBM would reconsider its position.
