I still remember because I've used Fedora since before it was Fedora. I recently switched to Ubuntu because IBM support was grumbling about supporting RDi on Fedora.

Which is funny.
You see, I have 2 Ubuntu machines which I set up and which I use daily, yet I never noticed that root doesn't have a password!
And that is because I haven't tried login as root or use su - without a prepended sudo in years :)
