Can you just use ACS to view the .history file? Do you really "need" to print it? Or export it to pdf, powerpoint, etc?

Thanks Vern.  This almost does what I was looking for but in my test, in order to create a Print Screen Collection the user must manually capture the screen.  With the Screen history when the user navigates to a new screen it is automatically captured.

So with the Print Screen Collection I can, as you and Rob (the other
one) pointed out I can print an image of the screen to a pdf but it requires manual action to save/print screen to the collection.

With the screen history all the screens are captured automatically but there doesn't appear to be a way to create an image.

The major concern with the print screen collection is the manual aspect.  For example, if we're trying to analysis all the steps/screens a user takes to accomplish a task, the user must print each screen encountered.  This leaves us open for the user to forget to print  the screen and so we may be missing an important step.

But thanks Vern, it's something to keep in mind.

Robert - take a look at my post just now that mentions the Print
Screen Collection tool - if you find a "print" driver to print to
images, it might be just what you want.

Thanks again Rob but that only allows export to a text file and
we're looking for  an image.

I'm thinking the only way to produce a group of image files of the
screens is to use the screen viewer as you mentioned and then take
a screen shot (I use Jing) and save that. Basically it does what I
want but it's a manual process.  I was hoping for an automated
process.

Thanks again Rob...

When I use the built in screen history snapshot it stores a
*.history file in C:\Users\rob.
To read an existing file I have to use Window, Screen History
Archive Viewer.
There doesn't seem to be a function to export, print to
PowerPoint, etc.

Thanks Micheal, I voted.  If anyone else would find this
functionality useful please vote and hopefully we can get this
accepted.
