As I understand, there will be no users in the system directory after you have completed the conversion from *SDD to *SMTP....via the CHGSMTPA command.

This is the last response I received from IBM:
The *SMTP and *SMTPMSF user data is stored in the IFS file, /qtcptmm/config/users.dat.

At this time, I have my answer....I will have to read this file, and parse out the information that I need.

Subject: Re: WRKSMTPUSR Question

I don't have any SMTP users on the system I have access to so I can't see what option 5 presents, but theSearch System Directory (QOKSCHD) <https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/ssw_ibm_i_73/apis/QOKSCHD.htm>
API
should return all information available with option 5. I would suggest googling QOKSCHD SMTP and reviewing the results. Several hits appear to provide examples.

Is there an API that will allow me to retrieve the information for an
SMTP user, as WRKSMTPUSR Option 5 does?

TIA.
