Correction -- I prompted the DSPFD command and put the cursor in
that field and pressed F1=Help -- reading the help text for
*USRLIBL, it seems this command interprets that very differently
than does WRKOBJ. It appears to just search the user portion of the
library list, plus *CURLIB, if any.
That is the same thing WRKOBJ does with *USRLIBL. The
difference
is that WRKOBJ returns multiple entries but DSPFD does not -- even
though
DSPFD describes the functionality of *USRLIBL the same as it describes
*ALLUSR an d*ALL (just a different set of libraries searched).


Well, I suppose it doesn't matter anymore. I was able to put some
special code in my program that is using DSPFD in order to handle the
*USRLIBL shortcoming. Works great now.
