Thanks Rob, John, Denis, Jim and apologies for the late response

To my simple mind the hardware encryption + SKLM has a major drawback
when it comes to a restore after a DR event.

How for instance do you restore a system from a Save 21 tape when an SKLM
server
is not available?

I would prefer a "IBM i stand alone" solution. i.e no other server, device,
network, domain controller etc. is needed for a restore (or save)

Can BRMS do it ?
seems an over kill solution since our entire save is one LTO6 tape
cartridge .
We've lately upgraded our tape device to LTO7 just to make sure that all
fits on one cartridge
(make life much simpler when restoring) .
