The question is: Is anything truly nondisruptive?

If I have a 5250 session to PRIMARY and it gets switched to BACKUP you're
going to have to reconnect, or have it do it automatically. Either way,
you'll have to get back into the transaction. There is no question the
users will notice it.

If I have a Domino task open to PRIMARY and it gets switched to BACKUP you
may notice it but it's not so disruptive.

If I have a browser open to https://mysystem and that goes through IBM
Edge server to either PRIMARY or BACKUP and the one you're on goes down
and you get routed to the other do you lose all your authentication and
what not? I've not really stress tested it that much.

Now, "noticing" it may be acceptable to you. It is to us. We end QINTER
on PRIMARY before doing the switch to BACKUP. We use replication software
vs Power HA. Quiescing operations takes longer than the actual switch.
