I have used the perzl download over time and it is still great for this and
GhostScript and other stuff not in IBM's YUM repo ... But Scotts it simple
and out of the box.

Just one note: IBM have introduced something the call the "magic byte" (
nothing to do with imagemagick) so they can distinguish between QSH shell
programs and PASE which allows you to run it *with out *going into to PASE
... now you can simply run PASE programs from QSH and the it will
automatically spin up the PASE under the covers ... much more easy !!i

so:

QSH('Imagemagick ... ')

.. will also work with Scotts binaries.

So far I've ported mc (which IBM is now distributing), Lynx and mkisfos.

My lynx port is not entirely complete (no https), but if you want to try
it, add the following as

/QOpenSys/etc/yum/repos.d/the-i-doctor.repo

then
yum install lynx-dev
