Subject: varchar_format illegal on customer box?
Trying to figure out why the below statements works fine in embedded sql on
our development box but not for our customer?
select dec(varchar_format(current_date, 'YYYYMMDD'),8,0)
from sysibm.sysdummy1
and
select dec(varchar_format(current_date, 'MMDDYYYY'),8,0)
from sysibm.sysdummy1
and
select dec(varchar_format(current_timestamp, 'HHMM'),4,0)
from sysibm.sysdummy1
On customer box, the joblog shows...
Argument 1 of function VARCHAR_FORMAT not valid.
DECIMAL use not valid.
Any ideas?
Jay
