IBM was checking back with me on this PMR.
I reported that no one has seen anything above 0% life used for the Enterprise SSD.
They are checking further, I will keep everyone posted.

Interesting.
Ran it on a couple systems with SSDs both on i 7.3 with current PTFs and
while the drives are happily reported the usage reports 0 on all drives
of both systems.
