The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
We keep our iACS on a read-only NetServer share. The allows us to easily do updates. The read-only keeps anyone from screwing it up, but they could still copy it local and do what they want.

Everyone probably knows the answer to this but I am curious so I will ask.
Could the folder be put in the IFS and have its access controlled by iSeries security? If so, would that be a solution?
