The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
My guess is others have pointed out the problem. The host table does not
have the proper host table entries in it for the local system.
My V7R3 system looks like:
Internet Host
Opt Address Name
::1 IPV6-LOOPBACK
IPV6-LOCALHOST
127.0.0.1 LOOPBACK
LOCALHOST
172.254.254.65 V7PROD
V7PROD.AGILETECHARCH.COM
The local address for this box is 172.254.254.65 Now the Java machine will
find the systems etc.
Alternatively you'll have option 12 set up with *REMOTE but at least two DNS
server that are very fast responding to requests.

Sorry....
"This is on a lightly utilized v7r3 Power8, that is quite fast for most
other operations."
