stringHighUse4K Space offset

I have a job written a long time ago by a programmer who's now retired.
One job creates a file, sends it as a network file to another as/400, where another job picks it up with RCVNETF.
It has worked fine and run without issue for several years, until yesterday, when the Space offset error started.

Can anyone give any guidance to the problem?
